Ove Pilgren charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Pilgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Tibro BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Pilgren to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Jim Kjellman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arne Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kent Hamberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Carlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Haeger in the 23rd minute of play forced Tibro BK's goalkeeper Arne Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kent Hamberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tibro BK. After a rather tough play, Norra Hallsås IF's Matthias Hedlund got a free kick in the 28th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tibro BK's Stig-Ove Bållström tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Carlsson in the 31st minute of play forced Norra Hallsås IF's goalkeeper Kent Hamberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Norra Hallsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Springfält to maneuver through the defense. Norra Hallsås IF's Kent Hamberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Norra Hallsås IF from getting a goal against them. Lennart Carlssons short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Kent Hamberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Anton Wahlnäs made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tibro BK's goalkeeper Arne Spetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Haeger. When Stig-Ove Bållström fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tibro BK's protests and gave Stig-Ove Bållström a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tibro BK! A collision led to Tibro BK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tomas Björkdal hit a great ball. Samuel Bohlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Hylander charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Hylander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tibro BK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Emil Hylander hit a great ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tibro BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kalle Månsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Norra Hallsås IF's players had a chance to rest. Henrik Springfält made a great header on Norra Hallsås IF's corner, it was just that Tibro BK's Arne Spetz managed to reach the ball for a save. 90 minutes into the match, Tibro BK's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Wahlnäs came free, but Arne Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kent Hamberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Lennart Carlsson made a precise shot to the right of Kent Hamberg. Norra Hallsås IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Norra Hallsås IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
