Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Aron Sjö started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Norra Hallsås IF's zone, Aron Sjö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Hamberg came out of the goal and Aron Sjö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Svartengren in the 7th minute of play forced Norra Hallsås IF's goalkeeper Kent Hamberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Aron Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Hamberg having to interfere. Aron Sjö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Aron Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Hamberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Sturefors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Wahlnäs in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ove Biörkquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Hamberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Sjö in the 27th minute of the match. Aron Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Hamberg having to interfere. Sturefors's Conny Svartengren got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Sturefors's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Wahlnäs came free, but Jens-Ove Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sturefors's Jens-Ove Biörkquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sturefors from getting a goal against them. Anton Wahlnäs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Biörkquist having to interfere. Aron Sjö kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Wahlnäs to make the kick off. Jens-Ove Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Haeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anton Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th play minute Conny Svartengren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kent Hamberg. 0-1. Sturefors's Jens-Ove Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Wahlnäs in the 72nd minute of play. Jens-Ove Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Hamberg having to interfere. Jens-Ove Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Wahlnäs in the 77th minute of the match. Aron Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kent Hamberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Sturefors's Conny Svartengren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Marcus Hellström hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Aron Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Hamberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sturefors supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sturefors would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
