Hedbergets BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casper Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Börge Lundqvist was a little too slow when Fredrik Hökqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 2-0. Johannes Eliasson scored 4-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 minutes, Jarl Caspersson made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. BK Skoj's Olov Vennerberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Hökqvist got free with Börge Lundqvist in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingemar Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Olov Vennerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Lundqvist having to interfere. Börge Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Eliasson in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, BK Skoj's Ingvar Söderquist got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nils Vinström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olov Vennerberg. BK Skoj's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Eliasson to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Hedbergets BK defense, Casper Abrahamsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börge Lundqvist. The Hedbergets BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börge Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. BK Skoj's Olov Vennerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save BK Skoj from getting a goal against them. Olov Vennerberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ingemar Myhr sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Johannes Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Skoj's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Eliasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börge Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Vennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Caspersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to BK Skoj getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Anders Strömberg hit a great ball. Hedbergets BK's Nils Vinström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olov Vennerberg but with some difficulty. In the 68th minute, Jarl Caspersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Vennerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Johannes Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Olov Vennerberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarl Caspersson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-3 in the 78 minute of play. After 80 played minutes BK Skoj got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Rolfsson. After having played for 84 minutes, Ingemar Myhr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hedbergets BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Myhr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Eliasson took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börge Lundqvist. Börge Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-3. Ingvar Söderquist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. Nils Vinström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Skoj had won after a very even match.
