The Haby BoIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Sandberg should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Nordin to make the kick off. Ingvar Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jan Bergfeldt sent off a good shot on target. After 55 played minutes Haby BoIS got a freekick which was hit by Börje Blomkvist. In the 58th minute, Jan Bergfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Haby BoIS's Ingvar Sandberg got control of the ball when Jan Bergfeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingvar Sandberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilgot Walmarsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. The Haby BoIS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gusselby IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
