Inge Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mira Mela in the 10th minute of the match. Mira Mela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Inge Falkrantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mira Mela in the 19th minute of play forced Holken's goalkeeper Inge Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Emanuel Lidström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holken and the Pulver City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Lidström hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Samuel Lundin lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Holken! The referee gave Pulver City a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pelle Lundblad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Holken's Inge Falkrantz. 2-0. Inge Falkrantz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Ulf Moberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes Pulver City got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Nordin. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Aekkapong Niraman made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Emanuel Lidström sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pulver City's goalkeeper Aekkapong Niraman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Lidström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aekkapong Niraman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Emanuel Lidström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Lidström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mira Mela struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Inge Falkrantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulver City. Inge Falkrantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mira Mela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Löfkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aekkapong Niraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
