In the 9th match minute, Nösund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Påk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Doloures Price booed when Nösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Michael Godholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nösund's Torsten Påk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nösund's goalkeeper Torsten Påk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Torsten Påk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Godholm in the 17th minute of play. Sven-Åke Eliasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Påk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Åke Eliasson ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Alexander Bergman in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nösund's Villiam Aronsson. 29 minutes into the match, Nösund's Mathias Samuelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Sundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathias Samuelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Samuelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nösund getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mathias Samuelsson hit a great ball. Nösund's Torsten Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Godholm in the 34th minute of play. Torsten Påk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Godholm in the 36th minute of the match. Elof Wall got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Michael Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Doloures Price's Sven-Åke Eliasson in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nösund's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute Michael Godholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Åke Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Doloures Price's John Blomqvist was substituted for Jonny Frisk. Torsten Påk made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Adrian Waller sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Doloures Price's Michael Godholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Påk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Nösund booed when Doloures Price was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Waller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Påk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torsten Påk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With his leg Torsten Påk managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Doloures Price's Michael Godholm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Waller during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, Doloures Price's Torsten Påk threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joachim Björklund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Doloures Price's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
