An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Nordal in the 20th minute of play forced Gällivare's goalkeeper Rasmus Bark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grimstorp IK's Olle Vase was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rasmus Bark in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rasmus Bark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennart Larsson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 32 minutes, Mats Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gällivare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Nordin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mark Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johan Bratt came out of the goal and Edward Abelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Abelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Johan Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Spetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Bark having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lennart Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rasmus Bark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Bratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Grimstorp IK's Rasmus Bark threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arvin Nordal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gällivare's Rasmus Bark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Gällivare from getting a goal against them. When Lennart Larsson in the 75th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Rasmus Bark kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Rasmus Bark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Nordal in the 78th minute of the match. Mark Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Bratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mats Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Johan Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Lennart Larsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rasmus Bark. Lennart Larsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When Mats Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Gällivare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Nordin couldn't finish the play. The Grimstorp IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
