Casper Ruud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Holmgren having to interfere. Nils Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Arhenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Vilhelm Ståhlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Torsten Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Fransson in the 23rd minute of the match. Casper Ruud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Holmgren having to make a save. In the 26th minute Vilhelm Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren got control of the ball when Casper Ruud tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Ståhlberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torsten Holmgren. Vilhelm Ståhlberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Casper Ruud in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Torsten Holmgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 41 minutes, Sakarias Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lineol Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakarias Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcolm Grelsson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Brummer was the one to do the kick off. Torsten Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Arhenius in the 52nd minute of the match. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Ruud, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Snorre Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lineol Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Snorre Hård was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Rönnäng BK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Ståhlberg came free, but Torsten Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rönnäng BK's Torsten Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Snorre Hård in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rönnäng BK defense, Casper Ruud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Holmgren. The Rönnäng BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Holmgren should have stopped the shot. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Arhenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Casper Ruud came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Lineol Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casper Ruud couldn't finish the play. Torsten Holmgren came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Lineol Boys's Vilhelm Ståhlberg. But to his dismay, Vilhelm Ståhlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Torsten Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Snorre Hård in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Casper Ruud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nils Arhenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Rönnäng BK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Ståhlberg came free, but Torsten Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Ståhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Lineol Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
