Oscar Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valder Gausbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Skogsgymnastikens IBS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bernt Smitt hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Bernt Smitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Arsenal defense, Moses Drinkwater kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Sjögren. The Arsenal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Sjögren should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Skogsgymnastikens IBS booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Levander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Skogsgymnastikens IBS were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valder Gausbo made a kick off. Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Alexander Petersson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by William Karlsson, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After 60 minutes, Valder Gausbo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skogsgymnastikens IBS and the Arsenal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Skogsgymnastikens IBS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valder Gausbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moses Drinkwater took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Sjögren. Stig-Arne Högberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zack Ericsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Viktor Sandwall kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Valder Gausbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skogsgymnastikens IBS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10.
