Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Håkan Sillén made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Persson got free with Niklas Koch in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ekrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Sillén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marcus Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hjortberg having to interfere. Niklas Koch came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Hjo BK's Andreas Persson. But to his dismay, Andreas Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 23rd minute Tobias Ekrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Björn Bäckman hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Stig-Ove Gustavsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Niklas Koch to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Gustavsson in the 32nd minute of play forced Skee's goalkeeper Niklas Koch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tor Ekeroth fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hjo BK's protests and gave Tor Ekeroth a yellow card for diving instead. Tor Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tobias Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hjortberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Ekrot in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hjortberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Skee booed when Hjo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Ove Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Gustavsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Niklas Koch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 56 played minutes Hjo BK got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Olenberg. Tobias Ekrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svante Petersson during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Skee booed when Hjo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Hjortberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Ekrot in the 60th minute. Marcus Hjortberg went to the wrong direction when Håkan Sillén was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Marcus Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Ekrot in the 69th minute of the match. Tor Ekeroth was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tor Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Filip Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hjo BK's Marcus Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Ekrot in the 81st minute of play. Håkan Sillén took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Hjortberg. Marcus Hjortberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 93rd minute Jonas Gummeson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Ekrot in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Hjortberg saved Hjo BK from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Skee's Håkan Sillén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Hjortberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tobias Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Hjo BK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
