After some careless play in the Norrlands Guld defense, Tor Brolin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Ove Wiklund. The Norrlands Guld fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Wiklund should have stopped the shot. Karlsborg's Anton Stenman got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Classon to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvard Magnusson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Ove Wiklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Edvard Magnusson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute, Anton Stenman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karlsborg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
