IFK Red Bull's Ian Skoglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Granberg in the 27th minute of play. Anton Granberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ture Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, IFK Red Bull's Filiph Pihlberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elliot Palmkvist. Elliot Palmkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Anton Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Skoglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Åkerman in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, one of IFK Red Bull:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ålsta BK a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Granberg made a kick off.
