Folke Nordkvist hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, IFK Hisingen's Gottfrid Hök got a free kick in the 16th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Einar Lindström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kasper Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Sundström in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Västra Ämtervik's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Göransson came free, but Tord Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Einar Lindström took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Tord Engström to make any attempt to save it. Tord Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Palmquist went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Tord Engström came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Hisingen's Sven-Erik Hedman. But to his dismay, Sven-Erik Hedman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Lindström in the 96th minute of play forced Västra Ämtervik's goalkeeper Tord Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
