After 16 minutes, Rune Friberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundsvalls DFF and the Més Que Un Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sundsvalls DFF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rune Friberger hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Donato Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Sten Bäcklin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Robert Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Sundsvalls DFF's David Stenquist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Bäcklin. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Pio Montemayor kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Sten Bäcklin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Salqvist in the 32nd minute. Sten Bäcklin was a little too slow when Stig Salqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Salqvist got free with Sten Bäcklin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Més Que Un Club's goalkeeper Sten Bäcklin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Salqvist. In the 42nd match minute, Sundsvalls DFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Berg to maneuver through the defense. Lars-Erik Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Alves in the 43rd minute of the match. Més Que Un Club's Sten Bäcklin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Més Que Un Club from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Alexander Pillai made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Més Que Un Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Berg came free, but Sten Bäcklin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Bäcklin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Salqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Més Que Un Club's Alexander Pillai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars-Erik Gerdberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Bäcklin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Löfgren in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Robert Löfgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Bäcklin was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Sten Bäcklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Salqvist in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Més Que Un Club's Pio Montemayor got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Stig Salqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Bäcklin. Més Que Un Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Salqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Lars-Erik Gerdberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Pillai in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Donato Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Més Que Un Club's Sten Bäcklin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Salqvist in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Löfgren in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Bäcklin saved Més Que Un Club from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Sundsvalls DFF's Robert Löfgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Bäcklin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sten Bäcklin came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundsvalls DFF's Robert Löfgren. But to his dismay, Robert Löfgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Thor Sillén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rutger Stenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sten Bäcklin. Més Que Un Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stig Salqvist struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sten Bäcklin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundsvalls DFF. There was no doubt that Sundsvalls DFF were the better team. Sundsvalls DFF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
