Conny Sundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute Jimmie Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Bäcklin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Conny Sundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conny Sundström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donato Alves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Sten Bäcklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Dalkvist in the 31st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Dalkvist to make the kick off. Oviken RK's Conny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Täman in the 56th minute of play. Emanuel Täman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Sundström having to interfere. Més Que Un Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Oviken RK defense, Donato Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conny Sundström. The Oviken RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conny Sundström should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Eriksson during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Donato Alves made a precise shot to the right of Conny Sundström. Oviken RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. With a little luck, Més Que Un Club's Sten Bäcklin got control of the ball when Rasmus Julin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
