An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Arvidsson in the 13th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Jarl Pil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Lidström to maneuver through the defense. Jarl Pil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Tingberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Jakobsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Åkesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Jakobsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sverker Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Norberg in the 25th minute of play. Villiam Norberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Åkesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Villiam Norberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Björk came free, but Jarl Pil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bunkeflostrand booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Bunkeflostrand's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Kjellman came free, but Sverker Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josef Björk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarl Pil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Arvidsson in the 38th minute of the match. Kim Jakobsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Sverker Åkesson made a huge save. When Gunnar Tingberg fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunkeflostrand's protests and gave Gunnar Tingberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Gunnar Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthon Kjellman took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Åkesson. Sverker Åkesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Björk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 1-2 became the score in the 51st minute when Josef Björk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Göran Lidström fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Göran Lidström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Göran Lidström hit a great ball. Jarl Pil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Björk in the 68th minute of the match. Jarl Pil made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Gunnar Tingberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Henning Björk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarl Pil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 78 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's Anthon Kjellman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sverker Åkesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Åkesson having to interfere. Bunkeflostrand's Sverker Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Kjellman in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Mark Uggstedt got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Björk came free, but Jarl Pil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jan-Olof Klint fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunkeflostrand's protests and gave Jan-Olof Klint a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bunkeflostrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Arsenal FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Göran Lidström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bunkeflostrand's Sverker Åkesson. 2-3.
