Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Hortlax RK's Edvard Hellgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 21 minutes into the game, Thomas Biörling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hortlax RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SKENE IF the free kick. After 21 played minutes Hortlax RK got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Biörling. Nils-Erik Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortlax RK's Leif Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Holm in the 25th minute of play. Leif Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Alströmmer in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Hortlax RK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jens-Ove Christoffersson hit a great ball. Henrik Mager made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hortlax RK's Linus Hagberg. Thomas Biörling hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils-Erik Alströmmer made a kick off. Jens-Ove Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Jonathan Skog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SKENE IF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Konrad Hedlund hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Hellgren in the 81st minute of play. Leif Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Alströmmer in the 83rd minute of the match. Hortlax RK's Jens-Ove Christoffersson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Hellgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
