In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pilsner Locos's goalkeeper William Nordal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Helge Lööf made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Käller in the 56th minute of play forced Pilsner Locos's goalkeeper William Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Pilsner Locos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Säv to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Manfred Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilsner Locos's William Nordal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Nordal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Andersson went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Bror Åhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Charlie Andersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Nordal having to make a save. The Grumps walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
