Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Strängnäs BK's Ivar Adelsköld started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strängnäs BK's goalkeeper Fredric Söderlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egon Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fredric Söderlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strängnäs BK's Ivar Adelsköld got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Douglas Hellkvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Strängnäs BK's Gunnar Lundberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Egon Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Egon Askelöf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venjan BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Egon Askelöf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Söderlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Roger Askstedt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Venjan BK's Frans Trulsson. Frans Trulsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Strängnäs BK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Evert Nordlander hit a great ball. The throw-in from Douglas Hellkvist in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strängnäs BK's Gunnar Lundberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Bolin in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Söderlund saved Strängnäs BK from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, Strängnäs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Frisk to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Frans Trulsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Askstedt's late challenge caught a Venjan BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Askstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Roger Askstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Strängnäs BK's Fredric Söderlund got control of the ball when Oskar Bolin tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Fredric Söderlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Bolin in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Venjan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Askstedt came free, but Frans Trulsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57th play minutes Oskar Bolin shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Fredric Söderlund and just under the crossbar into goal. Gösta Västberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The throw-in from Evert Nordlander in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venjan BK's Douglas Vallgren. Oskar Bolin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Strängnäs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Frisk to maneuver through the defense. Egon Askelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Söderlund having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Ivar Adelsköld made a precise shot to the right of Frans Trulsson. Venjan BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ivar Adelsköld might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frans Trulsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Adelsköld ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskar Bolin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oskar Bolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Strängnäs BK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
