Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus Mellbad got the match started through his kick off. Mikael Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Mellbad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sikfors SK's Kjell Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Sikfors SK from getting a goal against them. Joakim Hård hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Marcus Mellbad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Mellbad in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Ekenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Roger Sundström made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Ekenberg. Kiruna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leo Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Roger Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sikfors SK defense, Klas Glanselius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Nyberg. The Sikfors SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Nyberg should have stopped the shot. If Marcus Mellbad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Marcus Mellbad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sikfors SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Mellbad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Ekenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Kiruna got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Nord. The supporters of Sikfors SK booed when Kiruna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes, Kiruna's Viggo Svanberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kjell Nyberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kiruna reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Oskar Nyström during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Sikfors SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Fritz Månsson charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fritz Månsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Kiruna got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Månsson. Kjell Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Lindström in the 71st minute of play. Marcus Mellbad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mikael Ekenberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Mellbad slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute, Sikfors SK's Marcus Mellbad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Lindström in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Nyberg saved Sikfors SK from getting behind. Marcus Mellbad succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Mellbad in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Ekenberg saved Kiruna from getting behind. Kjell Nyberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klas Glanselius went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score.
