Skålbo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaeger United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skålbo FF's Kjell-Arne Fernström got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ingemar Ros didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Skålbo FF's Kurt Kruse shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Karl-Åke Odman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ingemar Ros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skålbo FF. Carl Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Skålbo FF booed when Jaeger United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Albäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Åke Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Kurt Kruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skålbo FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Kruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ingemar Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match Karl Sandberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingemar Ros skillfully saved the ball. Carl Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peder Ahlerot came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Jaeger United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peder Ahlerot couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Kruse made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Jaeger United's Hugo Meško got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Peder Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peder Ahlerot kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Jaeger United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Albäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Kurt Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Ahlerot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jaeger United's Alvin Hammarberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Arvid Låsberg came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Jaeger United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Låsberg couldn't finish the play. Peder Ahlerots short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Carl Ek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
