An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Andberg in the 7th minute of play forced Skillingaryd IFK's goalkeeper Aldo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skillingaryd IFK's Aldo Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Burman in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Karl Andberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aldo Paul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agne Fastesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Ahlström in the 24th minute of the match. Viktor Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Fastesson having to interfere. Viktor Byström kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Månkarbo's Agne Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Byström in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Burman came free, but Aldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gunnar Örtlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Karl Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Månkarbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Andberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute of the match Skillingaryd IFK got a corner. Månkarbo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Valrot ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Skillingaryd IFK's corner Elias Valrot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agne Fastesson quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Skillingaryd IFK booed when Månkarbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Viktor Byström made a precise shot to the right of Agne Fastesson. Månkarbo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After 71 minutes, Mikael Arvidsson made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Månkarbo's Agne Fastesson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Viktor Byström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agne Fastesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Viktor Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Fastesson having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Arvid Ivarsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Skillingaryd IFK's Thor Örtendal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Agne Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Hellström in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd IFK's goalkeeper Aldo Paul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Andberg.
