Spectators: 6338 (Terracing: 4600, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ali Cafer Tanpınar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Skålbo FF's zone, Kutlay Adıgün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Ek came out of the goal and Kutlay Adıgün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Stockholm City FC got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bammerman. Kurt Kruse had several of the Stockholm City FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Greger Blom as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Cafer Tanpınar in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carl Ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andréas Hafström went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carl Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Cafer Tanpınar in the 22nd minute of the match. If Kurt Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Blom having to interfere. Skålbo FF's Carl Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Cafer Tanpınar in the 32nd minute of play. Anders Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Kenny Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Ali Cafer Tanpınar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Ek. Skålbo FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Cafer Tanpınar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 47th minute Andréas Hafström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Stockholm City FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kutlay Adıgün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Ali Cafer Tanpınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Cafer Tanpınar struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Carl Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholm City FC. Anders Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Anders Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Stockholm City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Åkesson couldn't finish the play. Carl Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Cafer Tanpınar's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 77 played minutes Skålbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Lagerberg. Kurt Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Blom having to interfere. If Anders Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Ali Cafer Tanpınar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skålbo FF's Carl Ek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Stockholm City FC's Ali Cafer Tanpınar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Ek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anders Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Carl Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Skålbo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Wallman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Andréas Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockholm City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andréas Hafström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stockholm City FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
