Magne Sävström scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Månsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Magne Sävström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Lund got a freekick which was hit by Karl Örnberg. If Tobias Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Tidaholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hernström to maneuver through the defense. Joacim Vik, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lund's zone, Marko Broman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Månsson came out of the goal and Marko Broman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfred Eklund during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Manfred Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Sävström in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Lund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Lindman to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Magne Sävström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Ström hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Emil Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magne Sävström, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lund's goalkeeper Emil Månsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Mats Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Greger Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes, Tidaholm IF's Harald Sjödin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Månsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tidaholm IF reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Christoffer Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Blixt in the 52nd minute of play. Karl Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Lund's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Lundhberg came free, but Emil Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffer Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Liljeström in the 73rd minute of play. Christoffer Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Blixt in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Sverker Blixt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tidaholm IF's Christoffer Fredriksson. Christoffer Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tobias Svanström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidaholm IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Svanström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Månsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tidaholm IF booed when Lund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Dick Lindman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoffer Fredriksson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christoffer Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Lund's Ola Liljeström. But to his dismay, Ola Liljeström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 89 minutes into the match, Sverker Blixt notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tidaholm IF's Christoffer Fredriksson. Christoffer Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl Örnberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Lund walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
