Stornäset FF were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Boddingtons FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Håkan Flink took the corner. The corner ended in Håkan Flink almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boddingtons FC's George Västlund did a great save. Stornäset FF's Alvar Bäckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jonsson in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Olov Axelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boddingtons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stornäset FF the free kick. A collision led to Boddingtons FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Olov Axelsson hit a great ball. Boddingtons FC's Krister Wallman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stornäset FF. Leonard Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rudolf Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Västlund made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Joel Wiberg sent off a good shot on target. If Herbert Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Boddingtons FC's zone, Håkan Flink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Västlund came out of the goal and Håkan Flink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Andreas Jonsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stornäset FF's Alvar Bäckman. Alvar Bäckman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stornäset FF's goalkeeper Alvar Bäckman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Flink in the 60th minute of play forced Boddingtons FC's goalkeeper George Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Jonsson's late challenge caught a Stornäset FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Jonsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stornäset FF booed when Boddingtons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Stornäset FF got a freekick which was hit by Fred Fridlund. If Håkan Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Västlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Håkan Flink's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Andreas Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Boddingtons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Stornäset FF's Alvar Bäckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jonsson in the 79th minute of play. Rudolf Hedlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvar Bäckman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Fred Fridlund kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Herbert Lindberg hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. George Västlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Flink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Andreas Jonsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Alvar Bäckman to make any attempt to save it. If Leonard Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
