In the 11th minute of the match Per-Erik Söderberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Jakobsson skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Joacim Fernström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fred Jakobsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikael Wallin during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hudiksvall booed when Moliden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Ingvar Markusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Markusson took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Jakobsson. Fred Jakobsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sten Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Österberg in the 33rd minute of the match. Sten Östlund made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Axel Kiempe sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Åkerberg during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Moliden booed when Hudiksvall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joacim Fernström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hudiksvall's Gösta Nykvist shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fred Jakobsson but with some difficulty. Ingvar Markusson in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fred Jakobsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Joacim Fernström sped through Moliden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fred Jakobsson. Ingvar Markusson took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Jakobsson. Fred Jakobsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. A collision led to Hudiksvall getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Claes Åkerberg hit a great ball. Joacim Fernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Jakobsson having to interfere. If Axel Kiempe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ingvar Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hudiksvall's Joacim Fernström got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hudiksvall's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
