Matthias Landin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kjell Sundberg. 13 minutes into the match, Holm SK's goalkeeper Matthias Landin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Runberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Valler in the 15th minute of play forced Holm SK's goalkeeper Matthias Landin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Runberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Matthias Landin made a huge save. In the 38th minute Birger Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Holm SK got a freekick which was hit by Marko Norberg. With 40 minutes on the clock, Karl-Magnus Christoffersson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Holm SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Bruket. Petter Alin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matthias Landin. 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kåre Söderqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Matthias Landin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bruket fully deserved thier win.
