Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Latikberg's Erland Ekström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Latikberg's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Rosendahl came free, but Mats Asplund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Ek in the 8th minute of the match. If Eric Vallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Frans Bäckström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Stenman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Mats Asplund came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Österfärnebo IK's Bengt-Åke Rosendahl. But to his dismay, Bengt-Åke Rosendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Herbert Löfkvist scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Asplund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Österfärnebo IK booed when Latikberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Bengt-Åke Rosendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Österfärnebo IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Latikberg's Mats Asplund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Rosendahl in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Anton Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Stenman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Frans Bäckström made a huge save. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Latikberg's Erland Ekström in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Frans Bäckström was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Österfärnebo IK through an amazing save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Jarl Berglund's late challenge caught a Österfärnebo IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarl Berglund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Jarl Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Latikberg's zone, Anton Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Asplund came out of the goal and Anton Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicklas Kristiansson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Asplund. Mats Asplund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Anton Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Österfärnebo IK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Anton Ek hit a great ball. Eric Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Bäckström having to interfere. If Felix Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Ek in the 69th minute of play forced Latikberg's goalkeeper Mats Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Nicklas Kristiansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erland Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frans Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute Erland Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidar Stephansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Asplund came out and tried to block the shot, but Vidar Stephansson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Österfärnebo IK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
