With an all-out effort, Tugges Favoriter's Mats Asplund threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erik Sundberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Per Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tugges Favoriter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Isaac Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bengt-Rune Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tugges Favoriter's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Fogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Asplund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Erland Ekström made the kick off in the second half. If Arne Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Lindman charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Lindman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leif Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Alefors having to interfere. Mats Asplund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Christoffersson went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mats Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Sundberg in the 66th minute of the match. Mats Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Sundberg in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Latikberg's Arne Stenquist got a free kick in the 67th minute. Bengt-Rune Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Asplund having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Stenman got free with Kasper Alefors in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Latikberg's zone, Isaac Christoffersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Asplund came out of the goal and Isaac Christoffersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Asplund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Christoffersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Mats Asplund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Christoffersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tugges Favoriter's Kasper Alefors got control of the ball when Leif Andreasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tugges Favoriter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Latikberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
