Fc Amazing's Allan Boström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Piermattei in the 6th minute of play. Bernt Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Ahlerot in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Bern in the 12th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Bernt Tinglöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado Piermattei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Allan Boström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 18 minutes, Robert Kock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Göteborg and the Fc Amazing players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Ahlfors in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Tinglöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Ahlerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bernt Tinglöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Filiph Bern was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Amazing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Göteborg the free kick. A collision led to Fc Amazing getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Filiph Bern hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Fc Amazing's Fabian Ahlerot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernt Tinglöf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Ahlerot made a kick off. IFK Göteborg's Bernt Tinglöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Göteborg from getting a goal against them. With his leg Bernt Tinglöf managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Fc Amazing's Fabian Ahlerot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute, Fabian Ahlerot fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Ahlerot got free with Bernt Tinglöf in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fc Amazing were furious when Alvar Nilsson was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Fc Amazing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see IFK Göteborg's Bengt Bryngelsson in action when he in the 67th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Olov Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiph Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Fc Amazing's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Piermattei came free, but Allan Boström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Filiph Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernt Tinglöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ahlfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olov Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Corrado Piermattei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Allan Boström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. IFK Göteborg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
