Spectators: 5708 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 8) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Holger Hagberg got the match started through his kick off. When Holger Hagberg came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Brickebackens SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Hagberg couldn't finish the play. Sven-Åke Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Häll in the 6th minute of the match. Holger Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Bjurström having to interfere. David Falkrantz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mats Tönnberg sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 19 minutes, Holger Hagberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brickebackens SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Hagberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Falkrantz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kåre Qvarnström during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vargön Alloys FC! Algot Häll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Brickebackens SK's Mattias Kihlman got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Pär Odin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Falkrantz. Pär Odin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Mats Tönnberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Falkrantz having to make a save. Vargön Alloys FC's Nils Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Algot Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brickebackens SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algot Häll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Åke Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Hagberg in the 46th minute of the match. Sven-Åke Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Hagberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pär Odin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Algot Häll got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mats Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brickebackens SK's Jakob Asserlind got a free kick in the 58th minute. Sven-Åke Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Hagberg in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Vargön Alloys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Hagberg came free, but Sven-Åke Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Pär Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brickebackens SK's David Falkrantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Tönnberg in the 88th minute of play. Sven-Åke Bjurström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algot Häll in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute, Nils Sandberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vargön Alloys FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
