After a rather tough play, Draculas GC United's Georg Henriksson got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Draculas GC United's zone, Per-Erik Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Bruhn came out of the goal and Per-Erik Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Vollander in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Bruhn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Drake in the 20th minute of the match. Patrick Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IzmirFK's Peter Vollander got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bo Påk fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Draculas GC United's protests and gave Bo Påk a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the game, Peter Vollander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rune Bruhn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 42 minutes, John Blomberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IzmirFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Blomberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in IzmirFK's zone, Bo Påk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Kielstedt came out of the goal and Bo Påk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Vollander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Draculas GC United booed when IzmirFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Vollander got free with Rune Bruhn in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Georg Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Draculas GC United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Peter Vollander scored to the left of an out of position Rune Bruhn, making the score, 0-3. Draculas GC United's Rune Bruhn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Draculas GC United from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Peter Vollander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IzmirFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Harry Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonny Kielstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Vollander got free with Rune Bruhn in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
