After having played for 9 minutes, Jimmy Löv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Årsunda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Löv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Marbäcks Boys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jimmy Löv fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Valter Runberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Nils Ennegren came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Marbäcks Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Ennegren couldn't finish the play. After 20 minutes of play, Marbäcks Boys's Johannes Bruse made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Ahlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johannes Bruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernt Forsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valter Runberg having to make a save. Valter Runberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Soned in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Årsunda's goalkeeper Johannes Ahlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Ennegren. 63 minutes into the game, Marbäcks Boys's Johannes Bruse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Ahlgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Marbäcks Boys booed when Årsunda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Tham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marbäcks Boys's Valter Runberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Löv in the 87th minute of play. If Jimmy Löv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Marbäcks Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Forsberg came free, but Valter Runberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
