When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Andy Björnberg sped through FC Snyggkex's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig-Ove Ström. In the 17th minute, Andy Björnberg made a precise shot to the right of Stig-Ove Ström. FC Snyggkex's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Tim Lundberg notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Valdemarsviks IF's Filiph Hultin. Filiph Hultin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Valdemarsviks IF booed when FC Snyggkex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Browald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Valdemarsviks IF got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Ekelund. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Björnberg in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Lundberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiph Hultin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tim Lundberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Lukas Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Snyggkex's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiph Hultin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lukas Lindholm fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Snyggkex's protests and gave Lukas Lindholm a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Rickard Morat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valdemarsviks IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Morat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Snyggkex's Stig-Ove Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC Snyggkex from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Lundberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Snyggkex's Bengt-Åke Viberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Björnberg in the 54th minute of play forced FC Snyggkex's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Snyggkex's Malte Browald got a free kick in the 56th minute. Andy Björnberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Stig-Ove Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdemarsviks IF. Robin Nyström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Filiph Hultin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th match minute, Valdemarsviks IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Söderström to maneuver through the defense. Valdemarsviks IF's Dan Blom was substituted for Andy Björnberg. Tim Lundberg's late challenge caught a Valdemarsviks IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Snyggkex getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tim Lundberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Valdemarsviks IF booed when FC Snyggkex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Elliot Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Valdemarsviks IF were awarded a corner. Nils Söderström went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Andy Flink got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stig-Ove Ström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tim Lundberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 86thth minute of the game Tim Lundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdemarsviks IF's Filiph Hultin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukas Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Filiph Hultin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Ove Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Blom in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
