Michael Jespersson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jesper Larsfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klässbol. Åke Forsman might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esbjörn Enström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Forsman ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesper Larsfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Carlsson in the 15th minute of the match. When Lars-Erik Carlsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jesper Larsfelt was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Vargön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Säf came free, but Jesper Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Nils Magnusson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Klässbol's Esbjörn Enström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vargön IFK's Nils Magnusson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Vargön IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Carlsson came free, but Jesper Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Esbjörn Enström, was totally fooled by Vargön IFK's Jarl Willig, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Tony Söderström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jesper Larsfelt made a huge save. If Lars-Erik Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Klässbol's Jesper Larsfelt threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Göran Säf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Söderkvist in the 62nd minute of play forced Klässbol's goalkeeper Esbjörn Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Jespersson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jesper Larsfelt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vargön IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klässbol the free kick. Östen Siggesson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Vargön IFK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Klässbol for a fine match.
