Richard Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Tomasson having to interfere. If Richard Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Kivs United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tommy Nyqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Henry Thidén recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Lund. Henry Thidén showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Zé Augusto Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, AC Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nyberg came free, but Rutger Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AC Sebastian's zone, Zé Augusto Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rutger Tomasson came out of the goal and Zé Augusto Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Augusto Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kivs United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Augusto Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Nyqvist in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Lund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rutger Tomasson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Rutger Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Botelho in the 77th minute of the match. Zé Augusto Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Kivs United got a freekick which was hit by Lars Mellberg. With a little luck, AC Sebastian's Rutger Tomasson got control of the ball when Zé Augusto Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Augusto Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Kivs United's Zé Augusto Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Tomasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernt Zander's late challenge caught a Kivs United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernt Zander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kivs United booed when AC Sebastian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rutger Tomasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AC Sebastian fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kivs United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
