Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evert Sjöö got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, AC Sebastian's Henry Thidén got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Åström during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Oskarshamns AIK a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Åke Hellkvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Sebastian's Rutger Tomasson. 1-0. Ronny Drewitz scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutger Tomasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulf Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Evert Sjöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Oskarshamns AIK's Evert Sjöö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Tomasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Ulf Odman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AC Sebastian's Rutger Tomasson. Rutger Tomasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 28 minutes, Ulf Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oskarshamns AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Odman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sigvard Rolfsson during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the match, AC Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Drewitz came free, but Rutger Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, AC Sebastian's Bernt Zander made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egon Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Ulf Odman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Oskarshamns AIK booed when AC Sebastian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Sebastian's Rutger Tomasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Sjöö in the 42nd minute of play. Bernt Zander hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Evert Sjöö got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Evert Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Nyqvist made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AC Sebastian's zone, Evert Sjöö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rutger Tomasson came out of the goal and Evert Sjöö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulf Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Oskarshamns AIK's Evert Sjöö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rutger Tomasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Ulf Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evert Sjöö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rutger Tomasson having to make a save. Ulf Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC Sebastian's Rutger Tomasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Ahlfors in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, AC Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Odman came free, but Rutger Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Tomasson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Oskarshamns AIK's Ulf Odman. But to his dismay, Ulf Odman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. A collision led to AC Sebastian getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bernt Zander hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Evert Sjöö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rutger Tomasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Rutger Tomasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Odman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Oskarshamns AIK were the better team. Oskarshamns AIK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
