Klässbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Paiders the free kick. The long shot by Fredric Håkansson in the 8th minute really tested Esbjörn Enström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Klässbol getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Michael Jespersson hit a great ball. Bertil Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Enström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Pålsson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Enström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven Åkerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Säf, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Esbjörn Enström made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Bertil Nordin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Bertil Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Paiders's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Enström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Mats Pålsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esbjörn Enström. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. FC Paiders's Mats Pålsson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Göran Säf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Åkerberg having to interfere. Sven Åkerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Säf in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göran Säf in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Åkerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klässbol's Esbjörn Enström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Klässbol from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Esbjörn Enström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Håkansson in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Klässbol getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tony Söderström hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, Klässbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Ferm to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Fredric Håkansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esbjörn Enström skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Nordin in the 57th minute of play forced Klässbol's goalkeeper Esbjörn Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Mats Pålsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Klässbol booed when FC Paiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Göran Säf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klässbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Säf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Bertil Nordin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esbjörn Enström. Klässbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mats Pålsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Göran Säf kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven Åkerberg. That made the score 2-1 in the 81 minute of play. Esbjörn Enström came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Paiders's Mats Pålsson. But to his dismay, Mats Pålsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jimmie Björkman's late challenge caught a FC Paiders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Björkman helped the player get up and apologised. If Bertil Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute of the match Jimmie Björkman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Åkerberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Paiders's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
