The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Edwin Vik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TrossoTonii and the Fagersanna FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TrossoTonii's Edwin Vik got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Richard Mårtensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Allan Lindgren made a huge save. Richard Mårtensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustapha Zouba kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Osvald Pihlwall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Nord. TrossoTonii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvald Pihlwall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Per-Åke Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Reine Ekenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustapha Zouba hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Richard Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, TrossoTonii's Hugon Falke got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Mårtensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When TrossoTonii's Richard Mårtensson in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagersanna FF's goalie prevented a goal. After 51 minutes, Richard Mårtensson made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Eskuin's late challenge caught a Fagersanna FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Eskuin helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Eskuin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Magnus Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gunnar Nord made a huge save. When TrossoTonii's Richard Mårtensson in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagersanna FF's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Matsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lindgren having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, TrossoTonii's Reine Ekenberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allan Lindgren came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by TrossoTonii's Reine Ekenberg. But to his dismay, Reine Ekenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Mustapha Zouba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Allan Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When TrossoTonii's Richard Mårtensson in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagersanna FF's goalie prevented a goal. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Mårtensson in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, TrossoTonii's Reine Ekenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Allan Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvald Pihlwall might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Nord. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvald Pihlwall ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Mårtensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
