Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 140) Thor Säfström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Fristedt made a huge save. A collision led to Ludvika IF getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. George Bark hit a great ball. Bengt Björk hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Thomas Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Hedkvist in the 15th minute of play. Karl-Erik Fristedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Jonsson in the 18th minute of the match. Bengt Björk made a great header on Ludvika IF's corner, it was just that KINGS's Karl-Erik Fristedt managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd minute Erland Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Fristedt having to interfere. Karl-Erik Fristedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Björk in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes KINGS got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Nyman. Thor Säfström hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Kent Hedkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thomas Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nils Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Erland Delin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Berg. Ludvika IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erland Delin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nils Jonsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Fristedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Karl-Erik Fristedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half KINGS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Delin made a kick off. Thomas Berg made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Kent Hedkvist sent off a good shot on target. If Nils Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Nils Jonsson notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of KINGS's Karl-Erik Fristedt. Karl-Erik Fristedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludvika IF's Thor Säfström got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Thor Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Delin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Erik Fristedt came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ludvika IF's Nils Jonsson. But to his dismay, Nils Jonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Per-Oskar Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Hedkvist got free with Thomas Berg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Algot Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the KINGS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ludvika IF.
