Krister Lägdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Mager's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Krister Lägdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Forsberg in the 89th minute of the match. Leif Mager got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Krister Lägdin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 96 minutes, Ingmar Bergqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grundsund and the Sandhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sandhem booed when Grundsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Nils-Åke Caspersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grundsund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Caspersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
