But to his dismay, Ingemar Stålman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Håkan Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. Viggo Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Edward Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Edward Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Caspersson in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Grundsund booed when The Disco Boys United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Disco Boys United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
