Anton Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Gudhem's Birger Jansson. But to his dismay, Birger Jansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Vennerström during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oskar Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Gudhem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mangopapaya IF:s goal. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Mangopapaya IF's Billy Waller got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oskar Åström. Hans Busk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oskar Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gudhem's goalkeeper Oskar Åström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilhelm Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Åström having to interfere. Calle Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
