After a defensive mix-up in Viskafors BK's zone, Mattias Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Üllar Trummi came out of the goal and Mattias Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herman Bohlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Ball, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Viskafors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Eriksson came free, but Üllar Trummi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Malmö FF's Mattias Eriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
