The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Matsson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lennart Matsson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Jimmie Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Lind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Ek's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Matsson got free with Alvar Ferm in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12thth minute of the game Svante Dalström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but sjuntorparna's Alvar Ferm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Ludvig Kjellqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvar Ferm, 1-0. After some careless play in the sjuntorparna defense, Svante Dalström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Ferm. The sjuntorparna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Ferm should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Alfred Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Oskarshamn IFK defense, Vincent Ek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Lind. The Oskarshamn IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Lind should have stopped the shot. Alvar Ferm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Stenberg in the 28th minute of play. Ludvig Kjellqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 30th playminute. After having played for 33 minutes, Vincent Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sjuntorparna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Vincent Ek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Lind. Oskarshamn IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Ek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Alvar Ferm was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Svante Dalström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Svante Dalström really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. If Lennart Matsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludvig Kjellqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 45th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alvar Ferm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Dalström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lennart Matsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alvar Ferm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Ferm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Kjellqvist in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Svante Dalström made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. sjuntorparna's Alvar Ferm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvar Ferm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Matsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Ludvig Kjellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Ferm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfred Stenberg came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Oskarshamn IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Stenberg couldn't finish the play. Alvar Ferm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svante Dalström's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. sjuntorparna's Alvar Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Dalström in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Matsson in the 85th minute of play forced sjuntorparna's goalkeeper Alvar Ferm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, sjuntorparna's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Matsson came free, but Alvar Ferm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svante Dalström in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Ferm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Oskarshamn IFK's zone, Vincent Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Lind came out of the goal and Vincent Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Oskarshamn IFK were the better team. Oskarshamn IFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
