Sandsjöfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Hellsing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandsjöfors's Pontus Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Giliusson in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Göran Klint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandsjöfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Klint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Stephansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sandsjöfors getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Aleksander Törnkvist hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Sven Låsberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sandsjöfors's Pontus Björkdal didn't even have to move. Vassmol's Rikard Stephansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Hellsing in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vassmol's goalkeeper Rikard Stephansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Frisk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vassmol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandsjöfors the free kick. Sandsjöfors played a much better game than Vassmol and deserved their victory. The Vassmol players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
