With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Algren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. John Offendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Torgny Nordkvist made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Bredsidastolpein FF's goal looked a bit too open when John Offendahl came free, but Torgny Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Bredsidastolpein FF's Torgny Nordkvist got control of the ball when John Offendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egil Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Offendahl got free with Torgny Nordkvist in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Egil Strömqvist came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bredsidastolpein FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Strömqvist couldn't finish the play. Per-Arne Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20th play minutes John Offendahl shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Torgny Nordkvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Gottfrid Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Going Toulouse defense, Egil Strömqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Algren. The Going Toulouse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Algren should have stopped the shot. Joacim Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Bredsidastolpein FF's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Bergström came free, but Torgny Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Egil Strömqvist fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredsidastolpein FF's protests and gave Egil Strömqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Bredsidastolpein FF got a freekick which was hit by Egil Strömqvist. 36 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Lund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bredsidastolpein FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Going Toulouse the free kick. The supporters of Going Toulouse booed when Bredsidastolpein FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Bergström in the 37th minute of play forced Bredsidastolpein FF's goalkeeper Torgny Nordkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Offendahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Torgny Nordkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, Bredsidastolpein FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. When Egil Strömqvist came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bredsidastolpein FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Strömqvist couldn't finish the play. Leo Wallmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leonard Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reine Rosen during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Torgny Nordkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Ahlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Going Toulouse had played much better football throughout.
