Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fagervik IK's Jonas Venceslas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bertil Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Wennerquist having to interfere. Kevin Wennerquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pål Nilsson in the 9th minute. Bertil Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Bertil Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StarFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sven-Olof Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Venceslas in the 25th minute of play forced StarFC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Sten Fanström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagervik IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Fanström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Bertil Holm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Holm was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elof Aleberg during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fagervik IK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Elof Aleberg hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Bertil Holm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Wennerquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sten Fanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Gustavsson having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Bertil Holm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Wennerquist. Fagervik IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Holm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 75th minute, Pål Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The StarFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, StarFC's Pål Nilsson got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Elof Aleberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagervik IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elof Aleberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fagervik IK's Kevin Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Nilsson in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in StarFC's zone, Jonas Venceslas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Gustavsson came out of the goal and Jonas Venceslas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fagervik IK's Kevin Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Holm in the 96th minute of play. Fagervik IK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because StarFC had won, even though Fagervik IK had held more of the ball.
