After some careless play in the Wengers Gunners defense, Christer Säfström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Torsberg. The Wengers Gunners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Torsberg should have stopped the shot. Christer Säfström struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Stig Torsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redskins Hk. After 17 minutes, Cristian Barros made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Wengers Gunners's Stig Torsberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stig Torsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Barros went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a left leg Stig Torsberg saved Wengers Gunners from getting behind. Cristian Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Christer Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redskins Hk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Säfström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Torsberg having to interfere. Wengers Gunners's Stig Torsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Säfström in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Redskins Hk were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helge Stabbe to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Ivar Forss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wengers Gunners and the Redskins Hk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stig Torsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Barros in the 74th minute of play forced Wengers Gunners's goalkeeper Stig Torsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Redskins Hk's Christer Säfström made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Torsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Christer Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Torsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Redskins Hk's Cristian Barros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. A hard shot 83 in the game by Christer Säfström from a close distance when the talented Stig Torsberg managed to make a qualified save. Wengers Gunners's players were relieved. The Wengers Gunners fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Redskins Hk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
