Marcus Strandberg came out of the goal and Alex Hagström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrigstad BF's goalkeeper Arne Molin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jonas Stålberg came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Glemmingebro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Stålberg couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Jonasson to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Glemmingebro's goalkeeper Marcus Strandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Engström in the 58th minute of play forced Glemmingebro's goalkeeper Marcus Strandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
